Respiratory Protection

Millions of workers are required to wear respirators in various workplaces throughout the United States. Respirators protect workers against insufficient oxygen environments, harmful dusts, fogs, smokes, mists, gases, vapors, sprays, and general pathogens. These hazards may cause cancer, lung impairment, diseases, or death. According to the CDC the use of respirators can help prevent transmitting or contracting COVID-19. Compliance with this standard could avert hundreds of deaths and thousands of illnesses annually.

Employees who are required to wear a mask should be medically evaluated, trained and then fit tested for their selected mask.
