This position is ideal for a hands-on safety professional who enjoys being in the field, working directly with contractors, and helping organizations maintain safe, compliant, and productive job sites.
About Life and Safety Consultants
Life and Safety Consultants has been operating out of Greenville, South Carolina since 1997. Today, Life and Safety Consultants helps companies navigate requirements from OSHA, DOT, DHEC, EPA, and other regulatory agencies while supporting a clear mission: helping organizations protect their most important assets — people and the environment.

This is a 6–9 month staffing assignment with strong potential to transition into a permanent role based on performance. The position will primarily support safety operations in a construction-focused environment, with some exposure to general industry settings.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, the Construction Safety and Health Specialist will support daily safety operations by conducting contractor and visitor safety orientations, performing routine safety audits and inspections, identifying hazards, and helping ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations.

Strong candidates will be organized, comfortable working independently, and able to communicate effectively with contractors, visitors, employees, and site leadership. Experience conducting safety audits, managing corrective actions, preparing safety documentation, and using Microsoft Office or safety management software is also important.
